Thames River drawing circa the late 1800s with tall masted sailing ships, steam ships and row boats all floating in the harbor in front of the hospital at Greenwich which later became the Royal Naval College. This public domain book illustration was most likely a copy of a painting which makes this black and white ship drawing perfect for anyone looking for a vintage river scene.
Our Parlour Panarama proved to be a great find. George Cupples and his publisher T. Nelson and Sons used a number of great illustrations in this 1882 release.
