This vintage letter T image has a bit of a royal look to it. The T itself looks like something out of an old manuscript and the iron-work-like frame that surrounds it reminds me of royal coats of arms. But, I think the best use of this public domain letter image might be to actually remove the T complete and just use the decoration alone.
Thomas E. Hill published Hill’s Album of Biography and Art in 1882. It included a number of wonderful illustrations and stock print foundry images.
This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
