This is the second image in our series of white cat drawings. Our white cat friend appears to be contemplating an adventure in the big bad world. Could she be leaping into more than she bargained for? Or will she have a little adventure and safely return to her home without anyone the wiser?
This vintage colored cat drawing also shows the wooden shingled-roofs and distant city skyline.
This circa 1865 illustration is sadly not attributed to any artist. Aunt Louisa’s Birthday Gift, written by Laura Valentine (d.1899) and published by Scribner, Welford and Co.; included many animal images that I have shared with you on Reusable Art.
