Pretty drop cap letter A image. This letter image is one of a group of 10 matching letters that I found. The complete set includes: C, D, E, F, I, M, S, T and W.

This fancy letter drawing and the others in the set were used by the publishing firm Southern Methodist Publishing House in 1886 to decorated Petals Plucked from Sunny Climes by Abbie M. Brooks aka (Silvia Sunshine).

This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
