Part of a wonderful collection of historical lettering collected to be used by architectural and engineering draughtsmen, masons, decorative painters, lithographers, engravers, carvers, and anyone else looking for decorative lettering.
This set of letters of the alphabet would also make a great start for embroiderers looking for ideas for samplers.
While this image is truly copyright free in the United States, based on the original spirit of the book it is most likely acceptable to use the image freely. The book was written by F. Delamotte, entitled The Book of Ornamental Alphabets… and published in 1914.
