Another great border from the pen of some unknown illustrator, this dog border uses three separate dog drawings and surrounds them with designs that have a decided southwestern feel. This vintage image is from one of the many wonderful children’s books from the publishing firm Blackie & Son of Glasgow. It was included in their 1883 work A Box of Stories: Packed for Young Folks.
