Share in this baby’s first steps. This vintage image could be used to represent either a boy or girl taking their first steps. From the late 1800s, when little boys still wore their hair long, this image was drawn to represent a little boy – but that’ll be our secret.
This vintage drawing was included in the vintage children’s book Holly Berries. It was illustrated by Ida Waugh (d. 1919) and released in 1881.
