Another of the beautiful infant pictures from the talented Ida Waugh. These timeless, vintage drawings are over 100 years old but could have just as easily been drawn yesterday. This pondering baby appears to be thinking about something just out of view. The eyes of the baby are absolutely arresting. It is one of my favorite pieces by Waugh that I’ve included on Reusable Art. This infant portrait is in the public domain and free to be used in your next craft project in most of the world.
This colorful vintage baby image dates back to 1890 when it appeared in the work Wee Tots. The artist was Ida Waugh (d.1919).
This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
