Wildflowers for Calliope was a book written by Elmer Ellsworth Dresser in 1881. It was full of his poetry. What drew my attention to the work is this wonderful wildflowers pattern that was used as the endpapers for his bound volume.
I found this background pattern interesting because it includes flower and leaves along with subtle background stripes. It does have a repeat, but I’ll leave it to someone more skillful with image editing software to crop the image to make it work.
