Vintage black and white drawing of a redstart bird. While not obvious from this picture, the redstart has a bright orange belly and tail. If you are looking for copyright free bird images, this one just might fit the bill.
George Routledge and Sons published the book where this drawing is from around 1879. It was part of an otherwise unattributed work entitled Little Snowdrop’s Picture Book.
