One bird seems to be serenading its mate and their nest in this charming vintage black and white bird nest drawing. It’s from a children’s book that was published in 1882. It was called Nellie’s Housekeeping Little Sunbeams Series. The author did not identify their illustrator or an engraver.
The bird nest was built on the ground amongst grasses and other low-growing plants.
Hopefully, someone will find a great new use for this vintage drawing of a bird nest serenade and can make this truly a piece of Reusable Art.
