I can immediately tell you three things about this orchid and daisy block print border…it was the work of a print foundry, it was used in a number of books and it dates back to at least 1879 – the oldest book that I found it in.
Three flowers and a bee are part of this dramatic , vintage page spacer and border. The drawing is done in white on a black, polka dot background.
