Another interesting border image that contains individual artwork as a focal point. This vintage black and white image contains a small image of a pair of horses pulling a plow through a field and another of two people standing in a recently plowed field among the furrows. Along with more traditional scrollwork patterns and designs, this border is quite unusual. Use each of the separate drawings, the scrollwork designs or as it was originally intended by the artist.
This is a stock publisher’s image that was included in the book A Box of Stories: Packed for Young Folks that was published by Blackie & Son of Glasgow. It dates back to at least 1883.
This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
