Can you find everything in this vintage border image? They certainly threw everything into this one. It has a central figure-head with a dramatic beard and curled horns, a pair of devils, a pair of rabbits, a pair of horses, a pair of snails, snakes, leaves and flowers. James Drummond did not identify the artists who illustrated his book Highland Targets and Other Shields but we sure are lucky the 1873 work included such useful pieces like this one.
This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
