Yes, I know, this isn’t exactly a border or vignette like most of the other vintage illustrations you’ve seen here. However, it is often used like one.
A hand with a pointing finger is one of the most commonly used illustrations to draw attention to something important on a page. This hand was first published in 1891. Unlike many similar illustrations used for “Look Here”, this one is truly safe to use in your own work.
