Large, colorful floral bouquet drawing. This book place image is absolutely full of flowers; it has corn flowers, poppies, blue bells, strawberries and a number of other flowers and greens. This flower image reminds me of spring even though I’m not sure all of these flowers generally bloom early in the season.
Most of the flowers are muted pinks, blues and yellows but the two bold red poppies definitely draw the eye. This is another great bouquet image that could be used to make notecards or greeting cards.
Talks About Plants, or, Early Lessons in Botany contained a number of full-color drawings. Unfortunately, they did not identify the illustrators when they published it in 1879.
