This was the winning architectural drawing for the new book exchange in Leipzig in 1886. The Leipzig Book Fair had outgrown its previous location and this illustration represents the design for the new building. Whether destroyed by war or simply outgrown, the fair is now housed in a modern building on The Leipziger Messe Fairgrounds. This building umage was not attributed to any artist and appeared in Scientific American Supplement, No. 530, February 27, 1886.
