Black and white vintage drawing of a public house. What we would probably today call a restaurant or hotel, people who lived in the 1800s often referred to as a public house. This copyright free drawing of a public house has a trio of people standing out front greeting a new arrival.

Randolph Caldecott (1846-1886) illustrated the 1892 book Old Christmas where I found this vintage image.
