How cute is this charming little fellow? What’s nice about this vintage rabbit image is that it could easily be turned into a small coloring image. It should print about 2 inches wide by 4 and a half inches tall so it would make a fairly nice-size image to craft with. I think it would make a great image to use with springtime and Easter in a scrapbook.
This drawing has a white rabbit sitting up on his haunches peering over the tall grass he is sitting among. Could he be looking for a friend or making sure a for isn’t trying to sneak up on him? Or could our bunny friend just like looking out at the world around him?
Frank T. Merrill (1848-1936) illustrated the work in which this image appeared. It was The Myths and Fables of To-Day by Samuel Adams Drake of 1900.
