Black and white, public domain dog drawing. They didn’t mention what breed of dog this is but the first thing that entered my mind was a Mastiff. I might be wrong but the dog drawing certainly depicts one of the larger breeds of dog. Our canine friend has a collar and has a bit of cuteness in his four white feet.
Thomas E. Hill must have spent years writing his book Hill’s Album of Biography and Art. It was published in 1882 with hundreds of wonderful illustrations and what appear to be stock print foundry images. Over 200 of them can be found here on Reusable Art.
