This black and white floral drawing is on the small side but it packs a lot of great visuals within it. Tall spiky flowers angle to the right and reach up as if reaching for the sun. They are framed by several ferns and there’s another flower hiding among the leaves. Among the black and white flower images on Reusable Art, I think this one packs a lot of detail into a relatively small canvas.
There were so many wonderful illustrations in Hill’s Album of Biography and Art. The 1882 work by Thomas E. Hill has provided more vintage illustrations for Reusable Art than probably any other resource I’ve found.
