A group of cats appear to be lost as the lead kitty asks for directions from a man dressed in Highland garb. This charming pencil drawn cat image could easily be cropped to use one or both of the cats for your next creative project where you need a copyright free picture of cats.
This vintage cat drawing and the other’s from The Kitten’s Garden of Verse are among my favorites on Reusable Art. They all date to 1911 and were the work of Oliver Herford (1863-1935).
This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
