A pair of centaurs are the focal point of this vintage black and white image. This border, page spacer, vignette type image, inspired by Greek mythology is copyright free and in the public domain. It is from the 1876 work The Good Old Days, or, Christmas Under Queen Elizabeth. The illustrator of record was Henry Stacy Marks (1829-1898) but some of the illustrations were stock drawings used to decorate book pages.
