Vintage border and page spacer image with cherubs and flowers. This black and white cherub border is a bit blurry in the center areas but I think it’s still a great image. Use it alone, in a literary work as it was originally used or as part of a mixed media piece.
When Alfred H. Engelbach’s book was published in 1878, Engelbach did not identify an illustrator. Many of the images were probably purchased from a print foundry to be used with The King’s Warrant A Story of Old and New France.
This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
