While they both sit upon a weather vane, a rooster shows off his crowing skills to a hen. Another of our rooster and chicken images, this black and white drawing is fun in so many ways and would add a bit of charm to any project it graces.
This is just one of several wonderful black and white drawings from the talented artist Dugald Stewart Walker (1883-1937) included in the book The Boy Who Knew What the Birds Said. It was released in 1918.
