Vintage colored book plate of a white Dorking chicken by the wonderful illustrator Harrison Weir (1824-1906). Oh how proudly this fellow stands as if posing for us to adore his lovely tail feathers. Like all of the bird images on Reusable Art, this white chicken drawing is in the public domain. Wouldn’t he make a wonderful addition to a scrapbook page about visiting the country? It is from The Poultry Book which was copyrighted in 1880.
