Among the various drawings of Victorian children appearing on Reusable Art, it is these charming drawings where the child is neither girl or boy that seem the most versatile to me. In this vintage drawing of a curious child, we have a small child in their sleepwear peering around a door frame to spy on someone in the next room. My guess is this is a drawing of a little girl but since Victorian children of both genders often wore sleeping gowns, I’ve included this black and white drawing in this section.
I love it when I find vintage materials like 1890 Baby’s Annual Pictures and Stories for Little People. It was published oh so long ago that it is now completely in the public domain. It’s too bad the original artist(s) weren’t identified but that is why this book falls under the 120 years post publication aspect of copyright law.
