Gilded, yet simple vintage book illustration of a Christmas angel. From an 1894 work published by F. Warne & Co., this angel drawing was hidden on the corner of a page. With her gilded wings, I thought she deserved to be displayed on her own.
With her head bowed, she holds a book. It could be a Bible or it could be a book of hymns. There is a quiet serenity to this vintage illustration and I hope you’ll invite this Christmas angel to be part of your own holiday traditions.
