A pretty gray cat sleeps next to its empty pink and white dish. With its feet and tail all tucked up under and around its body, this cat seems quite content as it waits for the next meal to appear. The little sleeping gray cat is cuddled up against a frame of some kind. Our cats often lay cuddled up against the woodwork too. Guess they feel more secure that way.
This colorful vintage image dates back to 1881 when it appeared in the work Holly Berries. The artist was Ida Waugh (d.1919).
