There were a lot of pretty orchid drawings in an 1893 book about orchids by Frederick Boyle, but, this one just might be the most interesting. Don’t you just love how the lip is fringed. It looks a bit more like a piece of art than something found in the world around us. It’s from Southeast Asia and China and likes elevations between 4,600 and 5,300 feet.
