This drawing shows a flamingo bending down among tufts of shore grass to get a drink from the water’s edge. This drawing really shows off the bird’s long and graceful neck. Those legs seem to stretch forever too. Flamingos, when they drink, actually dip the top of their bills into the water. It’s fun to watch them take a drink in real life, you almost think they’re trying to stand on their heads.
