Letter I

Another charming drop cap image in this fancy letter set with children, this public domain image includes a little girl with the letter I. She’s dresses in red and white and stands out from the black letter. Wish it was a bit bigger but it was smallish in the book in which it was published over 100 years ago. It is from the 1908 work Dream Blocks by Aileen Cleveland Higgins and illustrated by Jessie Wilcox Smith (1863-1935).
