Letter J

J is for journey and it would appear this little girl is about to start one as she peers over a tall letter J image. This drop cap J is part of a letter set which features children in red and white clothing pictured with a solid black letter. They’re all over 100 years old and in the public domain and from the 1908 work Dream Blocks by Aileen Cleveland Higgins and illustrated by Jessie Wilcox Smith (1863-1935).
