Their name might be the common teal, but there is nothing common or ordinary about this colored duck drawing. It features a male and female duck standing in shallow water near the shore. The drake has a bit of green near his eyes but for the most part the male and female look quite similar. This public domain bird image can be freely used to enhance your next creative project it was included in the 1913 work Surface Feeding Ducks.
