Vintage black elephant drawing from a children’s magazine. This drawing was part of a puzzle that challenged children to cut this drawing in such a way as to transform the image from that of a standing elephant, who stands on only two legs, to an elephant firmly standing on all four legs. You can find the other drawing here – Black & White Elephant Drawing. He might not be real to life, but this black elephant animal image is sure a charmer.
This is another wonderful drawing from the children’s magazine Harper’s Young People. It was included in the February 3, 1880 edition.
