Combining soft pink, green and yellow pastels, this vintage background/border image would make a great addition to your next creative project. Use with or without the pair of swans at the bottom. This image may require a bit of editing before you use it, but it I thought it was so pretty that you wouldn’t mind having to fix it up a bit.
This may have been a graphic originally included in the book, but it appears to be some sort of presentation sticker. The date would appear to put it in the public domain, but I truly don’t know for sure. The book I found it in was The Stories of Whitminster from 1873.
This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
