This vintage decorating stencil was used in England in the 1880s. It was featured in an American decorating magazine in 1885. It consists of a central flower design surrounded by four stylized flowers and a geometric pattern. The magazine didn’t include the entire span of the repeat but it seems like it wouldn’t be too hard to finish off the right side to complete the pattern.
This graphic was included in the September 1, 1885; volume 6 edition of The Decorator and Furnisher magazine.
