This has got to be the cutest little fancy letter W I’ve ever seen. In a 1911 natural history work by Dallas Lore Sharp; The fall of the year; some clever person decided to turn a drawing of a trio of foxes into a drop cap letter.
This simple black and white foxy letter W drawing could be used as either a letter, like the publisher did; or as a cute little fox drawing.
