If you are looking for a white goose drawing, this pair of White Chinese Geese might be a good match. The White Chinese goose is a bit different from other species of goose. It has longer necks and is sometimes compared to swans, particularly when it swims. Their eggs are somewhat small when compared to the size of these geese and are unfortunately susceptible to cold weather. Their bills and knob are a bright orange-yellow color. I bet you could easily colorize the bill of these two birds to create a realistic representation of them.
It is so much fun finding vintage books full of wonderful illustrations. Thomas E. Hill’s 1882 work Hill’s Album of Biography and Art provided over 200 drawings for this site.
