OK, so, I have to admit here that this will never be my favorite giraffe image. I much prefer animals with their beautiful skins on and depicted as being alive and flourishing. That said, ain’t this giraffe skeleton drawing cool?
I like it because it is drawn with the giraffe standing as it appeared in life. I have no idea for a good use for this drawing other than maybe as part of a science project but I just thought it had a coolness factor that made it deserving of rescue.
I hope you’ll agree and if anyone does find a use for this great giraffe skeleton drawing, I do hope you let me know. It is from The Illustrated Magazine of Art, Volume 4 which was issued in 1854.
