A goat nibbles on some grapes in this vintage drawing. This handsome fellow with his stately horns and chin ruff appears to be finding more than he bargained for among the grapes. Can you find the tiny puppy hiding amongst the leaves?
I always love finding books illustrated by Harrison Weir (1824-1906) because I know it will contain a number of great drawings. This one from 1877 was no exception. It was included in the children’s book Lily’s Screen.
