Copyright free, black and white drop cap letter H image. This square fancy letter H image is one of a set of 13 drop cap images found in the same text. The other available letters are: A, B, C, E, I, L, M, N, O, S, T and U.
All of these letter images were included in the 1872 publicaiton A Book of Emblems with Interpretations Thereof. It remains unclear if the publishers Bell and Daldy used letters from a print foundry, they were drawn by the author Alfred Gatty (1809-1873) or they were drawn by some un-named artist.
