Clapsaddle Holiday Postcard
Ellen Clapsaddle (1865-1934) created some of the most charming holiday postcards of her time. Lucky for us, many of the over 3,000 designs she created have been collected for generations. This card is one of several Thanksgiving holiday cards you will find here on Reusable Art. The International Art Publishing Co. Ltd. of New York published this card in 1907.
Thanksgiving Dinner
C’mon let’s all admit it. The two best things about Thanksgiving dinner is the turkey and the dessert. This vintage Clapsaddle holiday card takes that to heart. A still life with a centerpiece of flowers and a golden brown roasted turkey. The tableau includes a cherry pie, a pitcher of apple cider and something that could be yams. Oooh, yummy.
