Tiny heron drawing of a bird in flight. There’s really not much to say about this public domain bird image. It is tiny. It’s of a heron or crane. And, it’s black ink on a beige background. Hopefully, someone will be able to incorporate this heron image into a larger work for something really unique.
I’m so happy I found Hill’s Album of Biography and Art. It is unclear whether the illustrations are the work of the author. But what is clear is that this large 1882 children’s book by Thomas E. Hill was full of wonderful illustrations.
