Vintage drawing of a saddled horse. This black horse stands as if being judged for his beauty. The saddle seems almost dwarfed by the splendid animal waiting for its rider to return. This is a fairly small horse image but hopefully that just makes it all the more useful.
Thomas E. Hill must have spent years writing his book Hill’s Album of Biography and Art. It was published in 1882 with hundreds of wonderful illustrations and what appear to be stock print foundry images. Over 200 of them can be found here on Reusable Art.
