A great vintage colored drawing that looks much like today’s clip art. Another Victorian children image, this young man in perhaps his first suit looks shyly over to see who is watching him.
This vintage drawing was included in the vintage children’s book Holly Berries. It was illustrated by Ida Waugh (d. 1919) and released in 1881.
This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
