Lovely vintage, portrait-like image of a young boy. This large copyright free image of children is in the public domain and can be used freely in your next web project or craft.

I found a number of great images in Baby World Stories, Rhymes and Pictures for Little Folks compiled by Mary Mapes Dodge (1830-1905) and published by the Century Company of New York. The work bears a copyright date of 1884 and does not identify an illustrator.

This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
