Playing With The Dog

A young child hides behind the drapes, playing hide and seek with the family dog. This great vintage colored drawing of children and pets is one of the most charming that I’ve seen and hope someone can find a great use for it. I’ve included the accompanying text to make it even a bit more interesting.

This illustration was found in Our Pets, an anonymous work was published around 1880.

This image is copyright free and in the public domain anywhere that extends copyrights 70 years after death or at least 120 years after publication when the original illustrator is unknown.
