This is one Victorian child who took care of her dolls. In a charming image, a child is handsewing her dolly a new dress. This is a great image of a child sewing and would be a great picture to exemplify someone learning to sew.
Ida Waugh (d.1919) drew so many wonderful and charming children’s book illustrations. Here we over 100 years later enjoying her illustrations which were included in the 1881 work Holly Berries.
