Charming drawing of a little girl counting to ten in a game of hide and go seek. That might not have been the original plan for this vintage black and white drawing, I cropped it off of a larger image, but it just reminded me a that childhood game of hide and go seek. The little girl sits in a chair with her eyes covered. She counts to ten as other, unseen, children quickly seek out hiding places. Such a cute drawing. I’m sure you could easily come up with other concepts that this play time image could represent. It is from the December 23, 1879 edition of Harper’s Young People.
